Clubs

The Surrey Hills Adventure Company (The SHAC) is our resident water club operator, with well-established open water swimming and stand up paddle boarding clubs. More recently they have added the latest watersports craze, efoiling as a new and exciting offering. We also have a small fly-fishing club.

We also have partners offering fitness and yoga. You can find more information on our Wellness page.  If anyone has a great idea for a club that would fit well with our space, please get in touch.

OPEN WATER SWIMMING

Our lagoon is one of the few year-round open water / wild swimming sites in the area. The open water swimming club is run by The Surrey Hills Adventure Company.

“Enjoy the challenge of an open water swim. Commune with nature whilst achieving those personal goals, shedding those pounds and meeting like-minded people. Cold water can increase energy levels, nerve endings stand up and your heart starts racing – it is the best possible way to get a natural high.” Skip of The SHAC.

We regularly carry out water quality tests.

STAND-UP PADDLE BOARDING (SUP)

The Surrey Hills Adventure Company run a variety of SUP classes and activities on our lagoon. From 1:1 tuition and small group intro sessions to freeride sessions, corporate away days and celebrations. (Children aged 8-16 should be accompanied by an adult).

They have the kit to use and wetsuits available to hire from their beach shack. Showers, changing rooms and lockers are available in our Outdoor Activity Centre.

E-FOIL

The SHAC are one of the first companies in the UK to be able to offer the latest watersports craze, Efoil. Using their extensive experience and knowledge of water sports, EFoil coaching and experiences are now available.

As hard and as scary as it might look, with the SHACs introduction to efoiling course, it is more achievable than you might think– and huge fun at same time. A perfect gift to yourself or the adventurer in your life to try something new and experience flying above the water.

FISHING

We have a small fly-fishing club who have access to three of our lakes where we have brown and rainbow trout. To join our club please contact us on sporting@dungate.co.uk. Boats are reserved for the fishing club.
