KIND WORDS FROM OUR VISITORS
Lovely location. Plenty of Geese and ducks to see. Watersports available to prebook. Restaurant best to reserve. Quiet environment around lake. Lots of parking. Good that no dogs are allowed to protect wildlife.
Really cool and scenic area. Particularly enjoy the stand up paddle boarding which we do quite frequently.
Absolutely love an outdoor swim. Only been twice but each time the staff have been friendly and helpful. Great advice on getting yourself prepared for the swim.
Peaceful walk around the lake of Buckland, can do paddleboarding there, benches dotted around the lake to rest in between walks, also a woodland track. Swans, morehens & geese reside in the park, ample parking & a lovely restaurant.
Went Walking round the lake, lots of wildlife to see then had a nice coffee and cake from the coffee hut and very reasonably priced.
A good time paddle boarding with the family. Lake was warm and we all had an amazing time
We visited today for the first time. Beautiful! Lovely food in the restaurant. Wonderful staff, particularly the young man who helped our little person drive her first land rover (highly recommend) Stunning views with interesting history.a wonderful place.
Stunning place to enjoy a walk, a picnic, some open water swimming or paddle boarding. There is also a restaurant with a beautiful lakeside view to enjoy, but consider booking first.
Outstanding place.
Great place to sit and even better if you like to walk. Wild swimming, paddleboarding, you can choose it too. Beautiful place and if you decide to end at restaurant there, it will be ‘cherry on the cake’.
What a beautiful place and the restaurant on site is an amazing space to have a drink over the water. I am looking forward to coming back soon.
First time visit, had a lovely walk around the lake with my pram and easy to push over the paths. Stopped for a coffee which was lovely. There’s a play area by the car parks. We’ll visit again with my older daughter.
